25.01.2008 - Opening Club Night: Bumper to Bumper

COBULA - Visit MySpace page
Cobula are absurd, demanding, energetic, louche, producing, according to their own description, “high fidelity cyber breakbeats to African balafon-like rhythms; Hawaiian guitar playing to dolphin scratches, from Chris Isaac to ultranoisy punk- rock.”

E de remarcat ca la influente au recunoscut ca pe primele locuri sunt drogurile si alcoolul.

Din cei ce canta in prima zi, ei imi par cei mai apropiati de ce as putea asculta mai mult timp.

After years spent booking for Tresor and WMF, Jay-oh and A.D. decided it was their turn for the limelight and took to the decks themselves with a wild mix of UK Bass, Hip Hop, Dirty South, Reggae, Baile Funk, Electro, Garage and Grime.
Sper sa rezist pana la finalul primei zile ca sa le pot vedea.

Pe second stage se prezinta !wowow! Collective
The !wowow! Boys – also known as Children of !wowow! – have meanwhile set up home in a former sewing factory in Peckham and now comprise an open collective of circa 40 young artists, fashion designers, photographers, filmmakers and performance activists, who consciously defy definition. Whoever invites !wowow! must be prepared for an incalculable “friendly takeover” without further terms and conditions … which is why, tonight, it’s carte blanche for the Children of !wowow!
